Marsh United crowned their cup campaign in style with a 3–1 victory over Walmer Bridge in the Guildhall Cup Final, overturning an early setback to take control after the break. It was Walmer Bridge who struck first on 22 minutes, Dominic Case finding the net to hand his side a deserved lead and give Marsh plenty to think about heading into half‑time.
The response after the interval was emphatic. Joe Pollard levelled the contest on 56 minutes, shifting the momentum firmly in Marsh United’s favour. Just five minutes later, Jamie Taylor completed the turnaround with a composed finish to make it 2–1, sparking celebrations on the sidelines and leaving Walmer Bridge chasing the game.
Marsh United managed the closing stages with confidence and composure, and the victory was sealed late on when Theo Callander struck in the 87th minute to put the result beyond doubt. It was a strong second‑half display built on resilience, belief and clinical finishing, as Marsh United lifted the Guildhall Cup after a commanding comeback performance on the big stage.
